Exchanges, Returns & Refunds

While I want everyone to be happy with their purchase once they receive it, there are times when a return or an exchange may be the better option for the buyer. 


Exchanges, Returns & Refund Policy:


Returns can be made within 10 days of receipt of item and all refunds will be made through the buyers original form of payment. Buyer also has the option to choose an exchange (see below) or receive a store credit in lieu of a refund. 

 

There are NO REFUNDS on custom orders.


Please include reason for return (e.g. arrived damaged, changed mind, etc.). Contact office through email (barbara@smilingsheltie.com) prior to sending the item for return. Refund will be given upon receipt of item and that it is returned in the same condition it was sent to customer. Insurance is placed on each order and if you receive your item damaged you will need to put in a claim to the delivery company. 


Items can be exchanged for another item if that is preferred. If that is desired then once the item is returned in same condition as sent then the replacement item will be mailed. PLEASE NOTE: No additional money will be required if the exchange is for same priced item. If the new item is at a higher price then buyer will need to pay the difference in price prior to the item being mailed. If the replacement item is at a lower price than the original item then the buyer will receive a refund of the difference in price.    


Late Deliveries: You will be notified when your item is shipped and will be provided a tracking number so you can receive updates of your item via transit. Unfortunately, there may be times when an item doesn't make it on time through no fault on my end. If this happens, the best either one of use can do is contact the delivery company to find out where the item is in transit. Overseas orders may be more difficult to track depending on their procedures along with how they collect any tariffs from you on the item.
